6 large potatoes, cooked and diced
1/2 cup melted better
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 pint sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
1-1/2 cup grated cheese
Mix together. Pour into a 9X13 inch casserole dish. Cover with 1 cup cornflake crumbs mixed with 2 tablespoons butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Note:
These have also been called Funeral Potatoes, Cheesey Potatoes, and Party Potatoes.
