NANIMO BARS
Crust:
Melt over double boiler:
1/2 cup margarine
1 1/4 cup sugar
5 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
Add 1 beaten egg and cook.
Mix in 26 crushed graham wafers ( 2 cups crumbs)
Press into 9 X13 pan
Icing:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons custard powder
1/2 cup margarine - not melted
Chill and spread over crust
Melt 2 semi-sweet and 2 unsweetened squares of chocolate and 1 tablespoon butter OR
2 teaspoons sugar, 6 tablespoons cocoa and 2 tablespoons butter
Spread over icing.
Cool and cut into squares.
