Bran Muffin Mix

BRAN MUFFIN MIX

Add 1 cup water to 2 cups All Bran or Bran Buds cereal. Mix and let sit.

Cream together:
1 1/2 cups canola oil
3/4 cup white sugar
2 cups brown sugar
Add:
4 eggs, beating after each
1 quart buttermilk
4 cups baking bran
Mix well.
Add:
4 cups flour
5 teaspoons soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Add to first mixture.
Add 1 cup raisins if desired.
Mix and refrigerate in covered container. It keeps 6 weeks in the fridge.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
